Dissertation on Wines and Travel

Wine has long since been considered the staff of life in Italy and has fast become such throughout the civilised world. From the earliest times wine has been of importance as can be attested by early documention in poetry, paintings, hieroglyphics and cuniforn dissertation writings all in the praise of wines.

Wine is known as an antiseptic used often on the field of battle to aid the healing of wounds, as a warmer of chilled bones thus mulled wines, as a toast in celebrations of sealing friendship and business deals or , as I am sure Shakespeare would say, as a sweet prelude to courtship.

Vines, and their produce, were perfected by the Romans and by them spread the vine culture throughout Europe. The invasions of the many barbarian hordes into Northern Italy can be traced to the need for culture and the love of wine produced in these areas and of course the booty. That men were willing to die for such rewards speaks for itself. Thus earning Italy the title of 'Enoteria' the land of wine.

Let us not pretend to understand the fantasy language of the 'Grand Cru' adherants and the overinflated prices. That is for the people who indulge themselves or play at being wine cognoscenti. Wine is to enjoy, to savour, to enhance a meal and assist the flow of friendships but at the same time not to overindulge because at that stage one can no longer appreciate the finer points or nuances of wine.

At this stage , let me say,Dissertation help wines are are completely subject to one's own taste so let the experts deliberate on rasperies, leather, nutty or fruity or even old socks taste. To my mind it is all hype and rather theatrical, but makes good reading and television. Only by trial and error can one find a wine that suits one's palate although a guide can be of help. Whuich is why I have remained loyal to the wines of Italy. Not to say that I haven't tried other wines other countries, I have but not often.

By this I have come to understand and know the wines of each region and not waste time becoming confused in the ocean of a cup of Bacchanalian delight. There are so many countries now producing good wines that the confusion is unevitable. Wines from the New Worlds, America, Chile, Australia and Argentina, to name a few, are more interestesd in producing wines of over 13% alcohol that it is unsafe to have even a glass of wine on a nightout or at home.

I shall attempt in the next articles to pass on my ideas on good wines at reasonable prices and some of the expensive variety for possibly exceptional occasions.

There are so many other courses like MCA and M.Sc. which also demand the preparation and submission of thesis or dissertation or any project work.

The words like thesis, dissertation or the project work are not the similar but for the time being will be written as “Thesis” hereafter in this article. But will mean for all the words like thesis or dissertation or project work.

If you want to get good marks and make an impressive thesis then you should follow these instructions carefully. These instructions will lead you to make and submit an impressive thesis in a logical form.

Which type of thesis will be prepared depends upon the subject and the topic chosen by the student of the scholar. Preparation of thesis becomes difficult in case of those topics where the collection of the data is required but there is lack of sources to collect the data.

But there are so many common characteristics which should be there in each type of thesis or dissertation and does not matter what is the subject and what is topic.

Sections, Parts and Chapters

Each thesis must be divided in the sections or the parts and chapters inside for the convenience of the readers and to give it a logical touch and make it impressive. Generally a thesis must be divided in at least 3 parts.

Section – 1

Every section of the part of the thesis contains several chapters. This part of the thesis should contain the following chapters in it

Chapter – 1 - Introduction

This chapter of part 1 contains the introduction about the topic you choose. For example if your topic is “Effect of Inflation in the life of General Public in area… “. Then in this section you will the give the intro about the meaning of inflation and the meaning of life style, habits, earning of money and the causes of inflation etc. the demerits of inflation etc. can also be written in this section. DO NOT insert the information about the area, scope and the limitations of your study and leave if for the next chapters.

Chapter – 2 - Objective or Need of the Study

This chapter will be dedicated to the objective of your study. What is the need and why this study is being made or for which purpose this research is being done should be described in detail in this chapter. This is the crucial chapter of your study and the objectives do not come to the mind easily. Let us explain some of the common objectives which may fit easily in almost every type of thesis and study:

1. A specific problem which needs a solution.

2. No previous study has been made.

3. Study was made but very much time has passed & changes have occurred and it needs a fresh study now.

4. It will lead to the common welfare of the general public or may be helpful for the government agencies for the improvements and the developments for the country.

5. To find out the reasons or the causes why fact(s) about anything were accepted or rejected at a point of time previously or are being accepted or rejected currently.

There may be many other objectives for your study this was just to ignite your minds.

Chapter – 3 - Scope and limitations of this study

This chapter will describe the scope of the study and the limitation which it has. Scope may be further sub divided into the following parts for example:

Regarding Respondents (Their age, caste, only to male or female etc.)

Regarding Area

Regarding brand/product etc.

If we talk about the limitations then the limitations of the study may be due to the time availability and the cost etc.

Chapter – 4 - Review of the literature

If there is any research done or the study was made previously then that data will be useful for the current study. In this chapter you will describe what kind of literature was available and reviewed by you while making or initializing the study. So many books, articles and the other study material can be described in this chapter which was ready by you as the literature. Study of the literature will guide you about the extent of the work which has been done and which is pending to do.

Chapter – 5 – Methodology of the research

Researches are of many types i.e. descriptive, applied & exploratory etc. which kind of research it is and what kind of methodology has been used will be described in this chapter. With the end of this chapter, section -1 of the report also ends. You may have more than 5 chapters and can provide these suitable names, depending upon the type of research but these 5 chapters must be there in any type of research.

Section – 2

As the section -1 was introductory & was providing information about the objective, scope and the methodology of the research, the section – 2 is the main part of the research report. It also contains the different chapters.

Now there are the variations regarding the chapters & their names in this section. There are the different types of researches and different types of workings are required. You may add the following chapters in this section

Chapter – 1 – Data Analysis & Interpretation

Chapter – 2 – Case Studies

Chapter – 3 – Processing data with hypothesis for acceptance and rejection.

As it’s a common problem among the scholars that they do not know how to use the statistical tools to analyse the data so most of them just try to mould the data to prove those facts which are almost known. So you are required not to do and are expecting to make genuine only.

Further, there is a whim among the students who do not know the meaning of hypothesis and assume that the formulation & the existence of hypothesis is a necessary part. So there is an advice for those that if you are not sure that which kind of hypothesis should be there in your report then please do not choose.

Formulation of a hypothesis is not necessary to complete a research report. Each and every report needs not to contain a hypothesis.

Section – 3

This is the last point of research report and contains the following chapters in it.

Chapter – 1 - Summary, Major Findings & Suggestions

This chapter will describe in short, what did you do & found while making the study. You will insert a conclusion at this point. What according to you is the result of your study can be shown in this part. Making a sub part for the major findings you may tell the readers about those things which were unnoticed or has been changed or are new as compare to the old ones. The major findings will be written in the technical language and must be included in this chapter by making a sub part.

Chapter – 2 - Suggestions & Contribution by the study.

You might have found some of the good and the new things which according to you might be improved with the help of the suggestions. Suggestions must be in the non technical manners so that the layman can also understand it.

Contribution of the study towards the progress or to the existing literature can be shown in this chapter by making a sub chapter.

The whole section – 3 should be finished by adding a chapter namely “Scope for the further study.”

Chapter – 3 - Scope for the further study

In this chapter you may describe what were the limitations & the scope of your study and how an enhanced study can be made. For example you may describe in which area the study was made and how the study can be made in the other areas too.

Bibliography – It’s that part of the research report in which you will write the names of those sources which were used during the process of preparation of report & completion of the projects. It will include the names of the books, articles, newspapers and magazines which you used and gone through during the process of your research. The names of websites can also be mentioned here.

Appendix – This must be the last part of the research repot & will include the format & the types of the documents & forms which were used for the collection of the data or some information while making study e.g. questionnaire etc.

For making a wonderful thesis a sample thesis or an example of a thesis can work fairly well.

Sometimes, it is very hard to find out the sample thesis or dissertation help of the subject on which you want to prepare your own thesis or dissertation. In that case, you can download the sample thesis or dissertation of the other subject. Because a sample thesis or dissertation which is although not of your subject can provide you basic information about making a thesis or dissertation like:

* Parts of a thesis or dissertation
* Language to be used.
* Grammar
* Length of a thesis or dissertation.
* How to compose a thesis or dissertation etc.

There are so many websites which are providing a complete thesis guidance packages these days which also includes a sample thesis. These types of complete thesis guidance packages contain a lot of information about making a good thesis or dissertation. You may visit any trustworthy website to download such kind of complete thesis guidance package. However I like www.thesisplus.com personally because this website is an old one and is having thousands of visitors monthly and there are a great no. of downloads of its thesis guidance packages. These kinds of thesis packages are too much helpful if you are new in this field. Because those packages contain a sample thesis, a lot of tips, information about common mistakes you can make and a lot of other stuff etc.

Now, you have a sample thesis, it does not matter whether you have a sample thesis or dissertation of your subject or of any other subject. Your work is half done, because you have already a ready format and you need to enter only the collected information in the ready made chapters of a sample thesis. When you read a sample thesis or dissertation then you come to know how you can prepare your own thesis or dissertation. It will not only guide you but will also answer your lot of questions that you can not ask from your supervisor again and again. It will help in making a strong and impressive thesis or dissertation.

Choosing a Dissertation Topic

Although the subject or topic of your dissertation will need to be related to the themes and issues covered in your ‘Advanced Topics’ course(s), this is an opportunity to identify and explore your own areas of interest. Generally speaking, the more narrowly focused your dissertation help subjects will, the better result you get. Of course, you have to locate your particular study within a broader anthropological debate. As well as considering your personal enthusiasms, it is also important that you design your project with an awareness of the constraints that you face. Questions you should therefore ask yourself include:

• Will the topic sustain your interest over the months to come?

• Is there an existing literature within which you can locate your work?

• Is there sufficient material to provide the evidence that you are going to need.

• Is the topic one that you can research with the time and resources available?

• Do you have the time and opportunity for empirical work?

Always remember the following:

•A dissertation topic does not need to be a totally new, groundbreaking, re-write the textbooks revelation. Studying an old dissertation subject in a new way, from a different perspective, can be a new contribution.

•The topic chosen must be appropriate to your degree.

•Be sure your chosen topic addresses a real problem or question.

•The chosen dissertation topic must be appropriate for the subjects you have available to work with.

•Select a topic narrow enough to be manageable, with a study that can be done in the time allotted.

•It must be of genuine interest to you! If not, it will be hard for you to stay motivated over time.

•Ideally, your topic should be of interest to your advisor.

3 Free Sources to Get Dissertation Help From

Have you got to give in your dissertation in the next 20 days and you haven’t started it yet? You find yourself badly stuck and don’t know what to do. You have absolutely no idea where to get the dissertation help from or how to even get started.

Stuck are you...uhh? Then following strategies will allow you, for FREE, to successfully undertake this task. There are three essential sources that provide dissertation help for free:

1. Dissertation Advisor:

”What slow and painful death can I give to my hopeless dissertation advisor? Crucifixion is too good for this useless wretch…Is this your immediate thought that comes into your mind when your advisor doesn’t reply your e-mails or doesn’t get in contact with you or always rejects what you send.

For the last 5 years I've been hearing from quite a few students that dealing with the supervisor is a total nightmare. As a matter of fact my research shows that every 8 out of 10 students who have to submit their dissertations say that they are stuck because of their advisors. Although in situations your advisor may prove to be chaotic but it is not the only reason of your dissertation stoppages. Turn the cameras on yourself and ask these questions from yourself:

• Are you missing your deadlines?
• Are you calling off and postponing meetings numerous times?
• Are you insisting on quick answers when you don't provide them yourself?
• Do you always keep altering ideas, topic, or approach?
• Are you shying away from your advisor because of any of the above reasons?

If you answer is yes to any one of the above questions, then you may be a catalyst to the disorder of your relationship. Analyze what you can do to act more responsibly and consistently and more importantly to get the advisor help you.

2. A Friend Who Has Written a Dissertation Before:

Another source of dissertation help can be your friend. If you know someone who has already written a dissertation, you are likely to get tremendous help from them. Your friend can not only help you with the research but can give you a guideline that you could follow to write your own dissertation. You can also get a copy of your friend’s dissertation and use it as a reference.

3. Local & Online Libraries:

Libraries, whether local or online, also serve as a source of dissertation help for you. You can easily find material related to the subject and theme of your dissertation. Being able to go through literally hundreds of references will help you collect relevant matter for your dissertation writing.

All universities preserve copies of dissertations, usually in their libraries, or in the individual department, or both. Don’t forget to check the universities libraries to find a copy of your dissertation. You can also purchase it for nominal prices through university’s website or through phone.

Dissertations were being done long before the internet came along. Depending too much on the internet and not enough on your own resources, like taking a walk to a local library, can actually hurt your academic paper big time. However, internet resources are now much more sophisticated and comprehensive. Here is a list of few online sources I’ve found useful during my dissertation writing process:

• www.scholar.google.com: Google Scholar offers a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including theses, dissertations, books, abstracts and articles.

• www.books.google.com: Google has digitized many books from library collections, including hundreds of books related to Old English literature: editions, translations and much more. You just need to have a Gmail account to access full books.

• www.questia.com: The world's biggest online library. Although it is a paid resource but worthwhile browsing through. Also it is very cheap. A few bucks can get you a month’s membership to browse through thousands of books, journals, articles, newspapers and magazines.

• www.ebscohost.com: Through this great resource you can access hundreds of libraries by sitting at your home through internet. Remote access of EBSCO's databases is only allowed to subscribing institutions for personal, non-commercial use. You should check with your institute to see if they have subscribed to this resource.

Final Thoughts:

Knowing the appropriate resources available for dissertation help will most certainly allow you to stay focused. Maintaining human relationship is an art. You have to be smart as well as responsible when interacting with your advisor to get maximum help. Friends and peers are often ignored when you are trying to get your dissertation finished. Don’t make the mistake of forgetting them.

When trying to get free dissertations online be careful about your topic and university guidelines. You may well download a dissertation thinking it as a great match to your topic but in reality it isn’t. You can also search and buy dissertations from the university's website. Also see if there's an interlibrary loan system that could send you a copy.

Write as much material as you can, get it down first and then edit it. Don’t start editing while writing. Your writing does not have to be perfect the first time. Get the words down, and then go back and refine where necessary.

Fourth:

Save whatever you have written. You sure don’t like to know that dissertation help page or chapter you worked so hard to write has disappeared due to hard disk failure, or some power surge hits your computer. Always save your dissertation writing work in multiple places: hard drive, flash drive

How to Prevent the Length of your Dissertation From Intimidating You?

1) Does the thought of writing
a dissertation intimidate you because you think you can’t write twenty thousand words or may be more?

2) Are you not going for your Master’s degree or PhD because you think you won’t be able to write a long dissertation that will contain hundreds of pages?

Most, if not all, students feel intimidated when they think about writing dissertations. It’s a false perception that your dissertation has to be 200 or 300 pages long or that it should at least have 20 or 30 thousand words. What in reality intimidates these students
is their speculation, not dissertation. But what if you actually have to write a long dissertation that should contain at least 300 pages? We will discuss this as well in this article below.

Don’t let Dissertation Intimidate You:

• You need to understand that the length of dissertation depends on your area of study. If you are doing your Master’s or PhD in Psychology then your guidelines will be completely different as compared to someone who is doing his Master’s or PhD in English.

• Also, writing about something that you enjoy in your field will keep you engaged and you will have your desired number of words or pages before you know it. Therefore, write about something you find interesting.

• You must stop speculating and procrastinating. You might have to write may be 70 or 80 pages maximum and you are getting intimidated just by thinking that you will have to write at least 200 pages. Check university guidelines for length and also consult with your advisor. Don’t let your assumptions preoccupy you completely.

Long Dissertation or Short – Shouldn’t Matter:

Now, you have to write a dissertation and let’s say you have checked your university guidelines and also consulted with your advisor and you have to write 200 pages or say 50000 words. If you think that it won’t be possible then who should be blamed – you or dissertation? You need to understand that you were not arbitrarily given 200 pages to write. If you have been given 200 pages to write then it means there is enough information available in your area of study that after thorough research you can write the desired number of pages. Therefore, if you think you won’t be able to collect ample matter to write your dissertation help then your research skills should be blamed, not dissertation.

The structure of your dissertation is designed in such a way that you eventually end up writing the required number of words or pages. Find out that what each chapter or part of your dissertation requires. You will notice that your dissertation will continue to extend as you study. You must write about something that you enjoy in your area of study as it will keep you engaged and motivated.

Therefore, you must:

• Find out the exact length for your dissertation from your advisor.
• Choose a topic you find interesting as it will keep you engaged.
• Understand the structure of your dissertation thoroughly that what each chapter requires.
• Do thorough research as this is the key to your success.
• Collect ample matter for your dissertation.
• Stay focused and keep reminding yourself that whether 20 pages or 200 pages, it doesn’t matter.

You are now on your way to successfully completing your dissertation.

Dissertation Doesn’t Intimidate You Anymore – But Somehow Stuck Now?

So, you have done your research, have ample matter, you know you can do it as you proceed step by step. But now you are still, somehow, stuck and don’t know how to proceed further. Remember, you must avoid verbosity and can’t just add words to meet the required length. You can’t put more words in just to extend your dissertation as it may lower your grade. The quality of content is the most important thing and it must be maintained. Follow these two tips to complete your dissertation successfully:

1) If you are disagreeing with someone then mention more examples that why their argument is weak. Try to make your argument or position stronger by adding more examples. Adding pros and cons is an excellent way of adding quality information to your dissertation.

2) Another important thing you can do is to ask a friend or someone, who doesn’t know your topic, to read it. A lot of times we don’t include information that we think is basic or not too important. But it might not be basic or unimportant for others. After they read your dissertation, they will be able to guide you where you don’t make sense. It will enable you to add quality matter to your dissertation to further extend it.

Final Thoughts:

“Writing dissertation is impossible” is a myth which must be debunked. Fear of dissertation begins with speculations. Check your university guidelines and consult with your advisor about the length of your dissertation before getting intimidated. That certainly doesn’t mean that you can feel intimidated after you know the required length for your dissertation. If you have been given a specific number of pages or words to write then it means there is sufficient information available in your area of study and after thorough research you can complete your dissertation successfully. Therefore, whether you have been given 20 pages or 200 pages, it shouldn’t be a problem at all. If you still feel intimidated then you must blame your research skills, not dissertation. If you get stuck somewhere, somehow, then you should research a bit more and add more examples to make your position or argument stronger. Also, ask someone to read it who doesn’t know your topic as they will be able to let you know where you don’t make sense. It will allow you to add more quality matter to your dissertation and improve its content.

When you start writing a dissertation, keep in mind that your thesis or dissertation topic should address an unresolved problem or knowledge gap in your subject area that needs to be explored and that concerns society as a whole. Your thesis or dissertation topic should be unique in that it should add something new to the existing literature. Simply digging up answers that already exist does nothing to contribute to an academic or professional field of knowledge. Simply put, a thesis or dissertation topic should be based on new knowledge and new solutions to existing problems—not on simply churning up old answers. However, conducting research on questions that have already been answered is considered part of the literature review and is a useful exercise to find out if someone has already conducted research on your proposed research topic. Make sure to find previous written articles on the related subjects and find how that dissertation writer make and structured his dissertation.

One of the initial building blocks to your huge writing project is to prepare a thesis statement: a sentence or paragraph that summarizes the argument you plan to make in your dissertation help, as well as the supportive evidence you plan to use to back up that argument. In short, it provides a “road map” for the reader of where you plan to go with your thesis/dissertation.

When writing your dissertation, consider the following four virtues of dissertation writing that will make you write dissertation efficiently.

How to Reduce Your Dissertation Writing Stress Levels

Facing the prospect of completing a 10,000 words (plus) dissertation, with very little structured support can be extremely daunting, even to the most confident student. Throughout the majority of your academic life, you will have followed teacher's orders, a government agreed syllabus, a well researched reading list. And now, for the very first time, you are being given the freedom to undertake your own research project, to explore areas no man has gone before, to learn and read and write and create within your own timescales and study structure. Great isn't it?! A breath of fresh air...but scary!

The process under which your dissertation will be completed can be, and potentially should be, quite structured. Its needs a planning stage, a literature review, an outline developed, a first draft, further development and a final draft. All of these stages make up the process for completing a dissertation, and all deserve an in-depth review of what work is involved to ensure the stage is completed successfully. But before you commence the planning stage of your dissertation, you must make sure you have got the preliminaries sussed! An excellent dissertation relies heavily on great planning, but if it doesn't conform with the formalities, if it doesn't tick the examiners boxes, then it has the potential to become a big fat flop! So, ensure that Step One of any dissertation you're going to be completing is, 'understand what is required of you!' To do that, you need to answer the questions (helpfully posed by Peter Levin from the Open University Press) below:

- What requirements does your dissertation have to conform to? And what documents do you have that state these requirements?

- What type of dissertation are you being asked to complete? Are you able to use the advice and guidance of your tutors? Does the dissertation have to be based on subject-matter that has already been covered in your classes, or are you able to carry out a piece of original research?

- Is there any form of marking scheme that you can digest?!

- What is the word limit of the dissertation? And what is included and excluded from this word limit?

- What referencing system are you to use?

- Is there a specific layout preference? For example, do you need to use sub-headings and double spacing of lines?

- When and where does your dissertation help need to handed in? And to whom? And is there a specific 'handing-in' process?

- How much freedom do you have over your title choice? Does it have to be agreed by your tutor before you can commence your research?

- How much assistance are you entitled to access? Where will this assistance come from?

- Can you use, access, or pull on previous student's dissertations?

- Does everybody else in your class / group have the same answers to the questions posed above?! It's always best to clarify your understanding of the formalities with others in the same position as you!

It is very easy to misinterpret guidance, or misread a deadline..., but easy mistakes can have awful consequences! So take the time to speak to your fellow students, and make sure there is a consistency of understanding, before you embark on your own, unique, dissertation journey!

Enjoy the ride!

What is the Best Way to Select a Dissertation Topic For Your Doctoral Degree?

This has to be one of the most, if not THE most important part of your success plan for your doctoral degree. Choosing the right research topic is vital to your ongoing self-motivation, peace of mind and can even affect the work career you intend to start after graduation.

Whether you are a distance degree student or on-campus, the same principles do closely apply.

First of all, make sure you really want to commit 2 or 3 years of your life to this terminal degree (the highest level degree!) You should have been thinking for some time already about what you want to focus your research on, but if you haven't, or just haven't had the time yet, select a dissertation topic that you are extremely excited about and have passion for. It must be so exciting and interesting to you that you are able to jump out of bed on weekend mornings and study and write and research right through the weekend and STILL feel energized and buoyant on Monday morning. It really has to be that good a topic.

It is almost like starting a new business - choose something you are passionate about, but if you don't you'll lose interest and your ability to succeed will have been thwarted right from the start. Bear in mind though that your Master degree professors and careers advisors are there to help.

A dissertation topic that carries your highest interest will encourage feedback from colleagues, peers, advisors, other faculties, and even the industry that is involved in the research. The energy you output can be that contagious. You will gladly and openly discuss it at social gatherings.

That deep yearning for researching your topic of choice is what will get you through that towering mountain of a dissertation. Don't put yourself into a position where giving up later on cold have been avoided. Plan this decision carefully. Discuss with friends and family too if it helps.

A final note. The dissertation help is the bottom line, the bread-and-the-butter of academia. So choose your focus wisely.

Stay on the ball. Keep it real.
